Color Hunt At The Getty

Yesterday when I went to the Getty Art Museum with my family, my oldest brother Xeno mentioned he'd seen a game on instagram called 'color hunt' and we'd figured we'd give it a shot!

THE RULES:

-everyone present is given a color they must take pictures of over the course of the trip.

-you must have 9 pictures by the end of the hunt so you can make a square picture grid with all of your finds, the more aesthetic the better.

-we all mutually agreed not to phone it in, for example if your color is green or blue don't just take pictures of all plants or all sky, try to go out of your way to find things uniquely that color.

-Have fun: yes to say so is both cheesy and redundant, but given the sheer animosity I've seen on display during mariokart it's important to make it a point. I've also noticed people get into their own head more than they ever have before about whether what they're making is good enough, and I can tell you with confidence it is, so relax and have fun.

I was assigned yellow and went out of my way to make a grid for the color in paintings and the color present ion the environment itself.

I love the color golden yellow so this worked out perfectly.

Xeno was red.

Reid was given green.

Chris was blue.

Anne-Marie was purple.

Moving forward I'd love to play this game everywhere I go in the future because I think it's a wonderful way to capture unique details you'd miss if you weren't on the look out for something specific.
